Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, June 23) — Delivery company J&T Express said it will sanction some of its personnel who were caught "mishandling" parcels in a video that has now gone viral.

In the video shared on social media, some men were throwing packages into a J&T Express delivery truck, drawing anger from netizens. The brand became a trending topic on Twitter.

"We would like to reiterate that we do not tolerate such acts and behavior, and we humbly take responsibility for this incident," the courier firm said, adding that it was an "isolated case."

In a separate tweet addressing a complaint, the company also apologized for the incident.

J&T Express was set up in the country in 2018, having originated in Indonesia. It now works with big brands such as online shopping app Shopee.
