Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, July 5)— Vice President Leni Robredo’s net worth has jumped to ₱2.3 million, a more than 50 percent increase from her previous net worth in 2017.

Robredo’s 2018 Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), which CNN Philippines obtained from the Office of the Vice President on Friday, showed a net worth of ₱2,314,430.

This is up by almost ₱1.2 million from her net worth at the end of 2017, which totaled at ₱1,114,802.84.

The increase, according to the document, can be attributed to the growth in her assets—from ₱13.01 million in 2017 to ₱14.2 million last year.

Robredo’s liabilities meanwhile stayed at ₱11.9 million due to loans. Her SALN also showed she has a “share of stocks” at Meralco.

The Vice President’s net worth dipped by ₱7.76 million in 2017, her lowest since she took office.

In April 2016, her net worth was at ₱8,878,111.43. When she assumed the vice presidency on June 30, 2016, her net worth was declared to be ₱11,053,138.

The Office of the Ombudsman, which gives out copies of SALNs of the President and Vice President, this year advised concerned parties to instead direct requests to the officials’ respective offices.

In a June advisory, the agency said it was “reviewing and revising” its requirements for the disclosure of the said document.

CNN Philippines has also reached out to the Office of the President for a copy of President Rodrigo Duterte’s SALN.

CNN Philippines Researcher Dessy Bautista and Digital Producer Alyssa Rola contributed to this report.
