Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, November 29) — The PBA has been given the green light by the Inter-Agency Task Force to kick off its 2021 Governors' Cup on December 8.

The opening games of the import-laced conference will be held at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said in the league's website that they are talking with concerned local governments regarding the plan to bring the fans back to the game venues as the quarantine restrictions in Metro Manila eases.

Until they reach an agreement, PBA fans will continue to watch the games virtually.

Aside from the Ynares Sports Arena, the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo,and the Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan City are being considered as venues.

The PBA Governors' Cup will feature imports with a height limit of 6-foot-6.
